Garden & Sculpture Tour & High Tea, Waiheke Island, New Zealand.

Located on Waiheke Island, our two acre garden is an oasis of plant diversity to experience including a private collection of sculptures by New Zealand sculptors Paul Dibble, Phil Price & Ray Hayden.

Sacred Blessing Sanctuary Garden is a privately owned garden that is open to the public for a private (exclusive use) guided tour and high tea between the 1st October & 31st March by prior appointment only. Bookings are essential.

We call our garden a New Zealand Country Garden, offering an extensive range of plant diversity to enjoy as you meander through the tropical garden, woodland garden of camellias, magnolias & clivia, vireya (tropical rhododendron) garden, fernery, rose gardens, Japanese inspired garden, herb garden with vegetable plantings and orchard, and monach butterfly enclosures. Two sides of the property are bordered by McKenzie Reserve, a twelve acre regenerating native reserve adding to its very private and secluded ambience.
Open by appointment only.  Bookings are essential.

November 2017 Sunday Star Times, Lynda Hallinan: From Issac Newton to Oprah, some people are just slow learners (by Lynda Hallinan)

Excerpt from Lynda Hallinan's article, Sunday Star Times (19 November 2017, p. E19):

'The Sacred Blessing Sanctuary Garden on Waiheke Island is the most beautiful garden I have ever visited in New Zealand, and I have visited a lot of gardens. It has everything: sculpture, sentiment, a serene fernery, fat strawberries, heritage roses, lush lawns and gardeners who hand-clip the carpeting pratia with scissors.'
